Unabridged Bookstore

For over 45 years, we have loved being your neighborhood bookstore and a part of Chicago’s vibrant reading community and we look forward to many more!

We are so excited to welcome you to Unabridged!  We are open daily 10am – 7pm.  And just so you know you can still order online and pickup your order in the store or have it shipped UPS.  (Remember to always look for an email confirming your order is ready for pickup before coming to the store, thanks!)  The health and safety of our employees and customers is of paramount importance to us.  We are happy to report that all of our staff are fully vaccinated and encourage everyone else to get vaccinated as well. Although a mask is no longer required to enter Unabridged, we support the wearing of masks for those who choose to do so.
